Mario Longpré is a partner in the Audit and Assurance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working in the Montréal office. He is also the national leader for the Aerospace and Defence industry practice.

Mario is involved extensively in helping his clients get ready for the conversion to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He is also the Montreal IFRS leader for the Technology, Information and Communications, Entertainment and Media practice.

Mario graduated from Suffolk County Community College in Long Island, New York with a degree in Business Administration in 1995. He received a BCom and a Superior Study Diploma in Public Accountancy from Hautes Études Commerciales in Montréal in 1998 and 1999, respectively. Mario obtained his CA designation in 2001 and his CPA (Illinois) designation in 2004. He joined the firm in 1998.

Mario has given internal presentations about the aerospace and defence industry, organized a panel of experts to discuss sourcing in low-cost countries at Aeromart, and co-edits a quarterly PricewaterhouseCoopers newsletter for key industry executives.

Since 2007, Mario has served as treasurer of Le Boulot Vers, a Montréal-based non-profit organization that assists unemployed people between the ages of 16 to 25 and helps reintegrate them into the workforce.
