Visa to enter Brazil
Citzens from some countries, such as US, Canada and Mexico need to apply for a visa to enter Brazil. The request form is available at the website https://scedv.serpro.gov.br/ . Please contact the Brazilian Consulate at your country for further information about visa, fees and necessary documents.

It is not necessary to take the yellow fever vaccine to stay at Rio de Janeiro. But the World Health Organization recommends it if you intend to travel to the North and Midwest states of Brazil, or if you had been in certain countries of Latin America and Africa in the last months. See the details here.
