What, who, when and where?
What is it?The 14th Americas School of Mines conference is an excellent opportunity to have access to the most recent information about the mining industry, mainly regarding issues related to the accounting, tax and business management procedures. The conference will cover international subjects, addressing issues from different countries, with lectures and participation of professionals and experts from Canada, Latin America, and United States.
In addition to the presentations in plenary, covering common interest themes to the many professionals who act in different areas, the conference has a schedule of specific training, separated by theme, as indicated in our program. At these breakout sessions you will be able to deepen your knowledge on the matters you are more interested in through technical discussions with experts (approximately 2 hours for each theme).
Who should attend?
The event is applicable to professionals from mining companies, companies with business related to the mining industry and PricewaterhouseCoopers personnel. New members of the mining industry are also welcome.
When?
The conference will begin on Wednesday, September 22nd, at 9 am, in a plenary session. We ask the participants to arrive thirty minutes before for the accreditation. After the conference, we will offer cocktail and dinner to the participants in the hotel.
On Thursday, September 23rd, we will have breakout sessions for presentations and discussions about specific themes, for which the participant should register in advance through the website (click here).
The event will end after a meeting of the group in plenary at 5 pm, when nominal certificates will be delivered.
